Karen Wen

DrPH Student

Karen is a DrPH student with an interest in community-based mental healthcare, mental health innovation, and health equity. She holds a BA in Psychology from Dartmouth College and an MSc in Global Mental Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine/King’s College London.

Karen has multisectoral experience across academia, NGOs, social impact consultancies, and start-up organizations. Currently, she directs the social enterprise Mind Axis CIC in London, providing mental wellness sessions to communities in the UK. Previously, she was a Fulbright-Nehru Fellow studying adolescent substance use in India. She also managed operations for the Care & Wellbeing Fund at Social Finance and worked on programmatic operations and strategy at the Global Health Group at the University of California, San Francisco.
