Professor Daniela Fuhr

Honorary Professor

Daniela is Honorary Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and holds a University Professorship jointly between the University of Bremen and the Leibniz Institute of Prevention Research and Epidemiology (BIPS) in Germany. Her training and academic expertise are in mental health implementation research.

Her research focuses on common mental disorders, with a particular emphasis on transdiagnostic interventions spanning the full continuum from early formative research to late-stage implementation. In addition, her work also also systematically investigates the factors that influence the implementation of these interventions across different phases, including structural conditions, resource availability, and cultural and social contexts. The overarching aim is to develop implementation strategies to deliver evidence-based interventions that can reach broad populations and make a sustained contribution to public health.
