Ms Carol Liang

Carol is a DrPH candidate in the Department of Population Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Her interests in global mental health include community interventions, health equity, health promotion, and stigma reduction, particularly in Asia.
With a diverse background in academia, startups, health administration, and NGOs, Carol holds a BA in Sociology and Medical Humanities from Boston College, a Master of Counselling from Monash University, and a Master of Public Health from Columbia University.
As Deputy CEO of Mind HK, a Hong Kong mental health non-profit, she leads efforts in fundraising, public health, and communications. She oversees the organisation’s strategic direction, aiming to ensure no one in Hong Kong faces a mental health problem alone.
Based between Hong Kong and London, Carol is dedicated to advancing global mental health initiatives.
