Mental Health System Development in the Asia-Pacific: Example from Timor-Leste
Dr Ritsuko Kakuma, Programme Director for the MSc in Global Mental Health at the Centre for Global Mental Health will be delivering a talk entitled 'mental health system development in the Asia-Pacific: Example from Timor-Leste' on Monday, the 19th of March, 2018. This talk is part of the Global Health Lecture Series at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine that is held at the John Snow Lecture Theatre every Monday during the first two terms.
During this lecture, Professor Kakuma will be drawing upon her experience working in Timor-Leste on holistic and culturally appropriate approaches to mental health system development. She will also be sharing perspectives on her work conducting research and advising policy makers across Asia, Africa and cultural groups in Australia.
