Rachel Greenley
Rachel Greenley worked as a registered nurse with a focus in mental health for 10 years in Alberta, Canada. After an amazing introductory experience in maternal mental health research in Rajasthan, India, Rachel went on to complete an MSc in Global Mental Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and King’s College London. She then relocated to London, where she now works in the Centre for Global Mental Health and within the Department of Population Health and the Department of Public Health and Policy at LSHTM as Programme Manager and Research Fellow in Global Mental Health. In addition, she is a consultant, working with partners such as the World Health Organization and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Rachel’s research interests include co-producing knowledge, reducing inequality, increasing capacity for health system strengthening and widening access for mental health conditions and psychosocial disability. With great passion for sport, she has participated in multiple running events with her most recent half marathon having fundraised for the LSHTM scholarship fund.
