Tanvi Jain is a DrPH candidate with experience in planning, adapting, and researching adolescent health and mental health programs in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). She has worked for and collaborated with prominent global organizations and donors, including UNICEF, WHO, and AstraZeneca, as well as local NGOs. Tanvi is passionate about meaningful youth engagement, working to systematically integrate young people into programs, policies, and research that affect their health and well-being. She is specifically interested in participatory and mixed methods approaches to programmatic research addressing adolescent mental health in populations affected by displacement. Tanvi is based in New York City, and currently works for Columbia University, working across the Center for Global Mental Health and the Care and Protection of Children Network.
