AIDSImpact is an international behavioural and psychosocial science conference that addresses issues related to HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care, focusing both globally and on specific communities and countries hardest hit by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Join us for the 3rd Webinar of the 2021 Webinar Series; Mental Health HIV in the Headlamps.
Mental Health is a key consideration in high quality HIV care - yet this is often a neglected component. The growing evidence base has provided insights into the vital elements of mental health provision, the importance of mental health in HIV management, adherence, prevention, care and quality of life.
The final AIDSImpact Webinar in the highly successful series will be devoted to understanding the importance and ways of integrating mental health care fully into the AIDS response. The speakers are drawn from global expertise. The webinar will have a highly interactive focus where the keynote presentations will be followed by a high level panel debate.
The Keynote speakers are drawn from international experts and community, including Professors Melanie Abas, Dixon Chibanda and Vikram Patel of the Centre of Global Mental Health.
